Registration is now OPEN for the 2025–2026 YMCA After School Care (YCare) program at Kouts, Morgan Township, and Washington Township Elementary Schools.
Important Correction:
Washington Township Elementary is currently the only school that does not yet have enough enrolled students to run the YCare program for the upcoming school year. Each site must have a minimum of 15 registered students for the program to be offered.
If you are planning to use YCare at Washington Township, Kouts, or Morgan Township, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Early registration is essential to confirm that the program can be offered at your school.

East Porter County School Corporation, in conjunction with the Porter County Sheriff’s Office, would like to inform the public of safety training that will be taking place at Morgan Township Schools (299 S State Rd 49) on May 6, 2025. This is during the scheduled eLearning Day. The safety training will be conducted from approximately 7:30 am until 12:00 p.m. There may be an increase in police vehicles in the area and police-related activities occurring within the school. Please do not be alarmed, as the school corporation and Sheriff's Department are aware of the training taking place.
WTE Field Day is coming on Friday, May 16th. We need your help to run the fun activities. Please go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084DACAB22A0F9C16-56641483-field to sign up. Take note of the grade levels that you are covering. Any questions, email Mrs. Schad. (Rain date is scheduled on May 23rd.)
WTE Carnival is coming this Friday, May 9th!! Cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. Come and have some fun! Concessions and pitches for Dunk Tank (with Mr. Kaufman) available for purchase.
